Captain Dan Hamilton has over 40 years of experience fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. 

Charters are available most of the year for both full and half day trips.

the vessel and crew

The F/V Megalodon- our primary vessel is a 33 foot Parker Pilothouse model MV2520SC built in Beaufort, North Carolina, in 2003. The Megalodon was recently re-powered with a 2021 Suzuki 300 HP four stroke motor and outfitted with upgraded SIMRAD electronics. The vessel Capacity is 12 persons and she is fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment per current US Coast Guard regulations. The Megalodon is licensed  through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for Recreational Fishing in all tidal waters of the Chesapeake for the Captain and all passengers.

In 2020 we are pleased to welcome T Smith as our very capable mate and knowledgeable guide. T has decades of experience working successful fishing charters on the Chesapeake. T also has extensive knowledge of the local paleontology and world renowned Miocene formations exposed in Calvert Cliffs.
